There are many things to remember when a booking any type of act for a live event. Always listen to live recordings, always check out feedback from previous clients and always be sure to check legal things like insurance. Otherwise, as long as you use a reputable agency you shouldn't have any major problems.

One other good tip is to check that your wedding venue doesn't have a sound limiter installed. This can be a major headache for the band if they have to play very quietly. A concert never sounds good if the performers have to hold back and are not able to give 100%.
